Russell Sutliff, D.D.S., M.S.

Born and raised in Long Beach, California, I love being a native of this beautiful state.  In 1978, I graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.  The following year, I was a resident in the Hospital Dentistry Program at the Jerry Pettis Veterans Hospital before my two year residency in Orthodontics at Loma Linda University.  In 1982 I received my Masters of Science in Orthodontics and eventually moved to Sacramento in 1984.

I have practiced orthodontics in Fair Oaks at Orchard Dental Group since the 1980's.  I have been an active member of the National, Statewide and local Dental and Orthodontic Associations along with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Building and "fixing" things has forever intrigued me, a trait that suits my profession and passion.  Clinical application of orthodontic therapies has been my professional passion.  It is thrilling to see the dental changes accomplished with modern materials and state of the art technological advances--and to even a greater extent, are the life changing possibilities with our sleep apnea therapeutic devices.

When I'm not in the office...I'm outside! I love being outdoors: running, putting around the yard, building a wood fired pizza oven, splitting wood, photography...almost anything out in nature...here in "God's Country".
